The 4th of July this year threw everything at us ... rain, sun, heat, cold and candy. Started the day off with blue pancakes. Alexa and Sally hit the parade with Paney. Alexa kept asking when the candy was coming. Once it finally started, she LOVED it! Every time something came by, she'd ask if they had candy. And if they didn't, she was uninterested in what they were doing. She loved running out to get the candy, but would get mad/cry if she didn't get some each time. We then hit the pool. We had a downpour and it got cold, but after that passed, it was nice out again (a bit cool still for some).
