Linda's Shower
9/19/08: Linda and Stephen got married! They had a wonderful wedding in St. Paul w/ the reception at The Science Museum. Everything went off without a hitch and it all looked beautiful. I wrangled everyone for photos and tried to get the kids to smile in the photos for the photog. I was sweating before the wedding even started. Linda looked great! Jason did the video. My mother put the flowers together for the reception (which I forgot to take a photo of ... stupid!). The flowers at the reception were gladiola's in a tall cylinder vase with black rocks and very tall willow branches coming out of them. It looked very nice in the reception area w/ the linens and table setting. My mother came with Alexa to the reception. Alexa had a ball. She danced around all night. She was loving the party and loved wearing her "princess dress" (even though it was a top and pants). She also loved the cake (which was very good). It was hot outside and in and all in all, just a wonderful day for a wedding. I'm still getting used to the fact that Linda is now Linda Dygos ... I think I'll still call her Lupe.
9/15/08: 8 wonderful women got together to celebrate Linda's upcoming wedding. We had drinks and tons of "tapas" at Solera in Mpls. There were so many rounds of food, I could not keep up with the photos.
