10/26/07-10/28/07: We took a family trip to South Dakota along with my parents (Diann and Vinton) to see my grandmothers and aunts, uncles, counsins ... the whole family. We had a great time. The great-grandma's (We had Alexa call them GG) got to see Alexa again for the first time since seeing her at 3-weeks old. She played with the dolls at my grandma Tippery's house. Alexa got to play with Cassie (Kelli and Jason's daughter) and see Jamie's twins. She LOVED the twins. She must have kissed them 50 times. She helped give them a bottle and she loved touching them. She also loves the Chicken Dance. I wish we would have had video of it, but Alexa found a robotic chicken that dances and music plays the chicken dance. She danced and danced to it and did the movements. It was so funny. She listened to that thing 50 times. Alexa also got to see her first combine and mananged not to eat any of the bugs on the farm. Jason got to go pheasant hunting. He didn't shoot any of God's animals because he didn't want to pay $110 for a license, but my cousin and uncle were more willing. They bagged one bird, but Jason said he had a great time and got some good exercise in the process. |
